Fans of the always-enticing "Kitchen Nightmares" should brace themselves for bad news.

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay is wrapping up his hit show "Kitchen Nightmares," according to Deadline.

"I'm breaking my own news today! I've decided it's time to bring 'Kitchen Nightmares' to a close. Been 10 great years," tweeted Ramsay on June 23.

Although Fox and Ramsay were reportedly on the same page about the end of the show, the timing of the announcement was all Chef Ramsay's doing. When contacted for comment by the website, Fox said it had no comment.

Ramsay also posted on his website about the Fox utility player, that reportedly just finished its seventh season.

"As filming comes to a close on the latest series of 'Kitchen Nightmares' I've decided to stop making the show. . . I've had a phenomenal 10 years making 123 episodes, 12 seasons, shot across 2 continents, watching by tens of millions of people and sold to over 150 countries. It's been a blast but it's time to call it a day," wrote Ramsay.

"Kitchen Nightmares" debuted in the U.K. in 2004; Ramsay brought the show to the U.S. in 2007, according to E! News.

"During this time I've visited over 100 restaurants, meeting and trying to help or in some cases failing to help, some of the most weird and wonderful people," wrote Ramsay.

Ramsay's other hit shows, "MasterChef," which is one its fifth season, and "Hells Kitchen" which is in the midst of season 12, will continue. "MasterChef Junior" will be kicking off its second season while "Hotel Hell" will return on July 21.

"I'm glad I've been able to entertain and hopefully help a few people along the way. It's sad to say goodbye to 'Kitchen Nightmares' but I'll be continuing with my other shows. It's been memorable!" wrote Ramsay.
