This is a make or break game for Greece and Ivory Coast as what is currently at stake is a chance to qualify in the Knockout Round of 16, as a representative of Group C.

Both sides have had their fair share of bad luck in their previous games, but the two's flame for football excellence have never been put out yet. This is their last straw to show that they have the skills for the next stage World Cup games.

So far, Ivory Coast have been pretty impressive with their performance against Colombia and Japan. However, the goalless draw that Japan and Greece have created had made things complicated for the cluster.

Ivory Coast had done well in their match against Japan, finishing with a 2-1 score. Though Japan's Keisuke Honda scored within 16 minutes in the game, Ivory Coast's Wilfried Bony and Gervinho managed to deliver two goals during the second half of the game.

Their next match, now against Colombia, have ended with a defeat, but it was not a one-sided match. The final score at 2-1 was delivered again by Gervinho.

Emotional problems of the Ivory Coast team, especially Yaya and Koko Toure's have also been sprouting. Their brother, Ibrahim, died of cancer last Thursday. The two decided to stay in Braziul still for the match, though.

On the other hand, the Greece's defence were on an all-time high during their scoreless draw against Japan. They have so much potential in that area, but will also need to improve in their attacks to score some goals needed to win.

Their loss against Colombia was pretty farfetched though, as the game resulted in a 3-0 score in favour of the Colombians.

The two have never met on World Cup soil.
