It is a do or die match between Italy and Uruguay as they both have fallen short of their previous performances for the World Cup. Now, as the games progress, the two are to square off for a win, to make them eligible in joining the Los Ticos in the Knockout Round of 16.

Since Italy has more goals, a draw will be enough for them for the next round. For Uruguay, it is a different case. They need to really win against the Italians for a slot in the Magic 16.

Italy did some serious humbling to the England team as they finished the match with a 2-1, thanks to Mario Balotelli and Claudio Marchisio.

However, their last game against Costa Rica was also exciting, but it had ended with a loss at 1-0. Though it is no surprise that Costa Rica had won, but everyone knew Italy could do better. There were a lot of mistakes committed in passing. But, this game sent the English team home for good.

On the other hand, Uruguay's performance really got better since Luis Suarez stepped into the scene.

Uruguay's performance against Costa Rica is not really impressive with a 3-1 ending in favour of the Costa Ricans.

But their fate has been changed as the talismanic Suarez was fully healed and got in to the World Cup scene, debuting in the England vs. Uruguay game. The game ended in a 2-1 score as Suarez scored twice on each halves of the game.

Costa Rica is well waiting for the next victors to join them in the next stage.
