Birthday boy Lee Min Ho shares his blessings on his special day.
On the 22nd, the actor celebrated his birthday on the set of his upcoming film "Gangnam Blues" in Suncheon, and instead of being the receiver of gifts, he chose to share the special day with the staff by handing out presents to the production crew.
The actor prepared t-shirts and environmentally friendly hand towels embedded with the logo PROMIZ, which he personally designed for the event.
Along with the gifts, Lee Min Ho also gave out cards with a picture of him holding out a placard that says, "'Gangnam Blues' fighting!" and an attached message which says, "We've been through a lot already. I hope we can conclude the filming safely."
Lee Min Ho said, "It's tradition to receive gifts when it's your birthday, but after being encouraged by my thoughtful fans through the PROMIZ project, I decided that this year, I want to give out presents instead. Giving feels just as good as receiving."
PROMIZ is a portmanteau of the word 'promise,' and his fanclub MINOZ, which means that Lee Min Ho and his fans promise to get together share their love to the world. It is a project where fans and Lee Min Ho will conduct socially relevant and charitable events.
Meanwhile, "Gangnam Blues" is scheduled to premiere at the end of 2014.
