Brad Pitt "Fury" trailer could be overhauled before the November launch, with reports of a casting call and reshoot to commence this July.

The November release date even looks tentative with the recent news; two actors need to fill roles as SS officers with several months left to film, given the characters are already part of the production, with similar-sounding voices.

"Fury" is an impressive World War II epic, with a cast headlined by a notable ensemble. Pitt leads the pack with Shia Labeouf, Logan Lerman, Scott Eastwood, Jon Bernthal, and Michael Pena. As Sgt. Wardaddy, Pitt commands five men of a small Sherman tank crew sent behind enemy lines, as the war wraps up.

David Ayer, notable for the gritty and grim "Training Day" and "End of Watch," directs in collaboration with Jake Gyllenhaal. Reshoots are the norm in filming, and Brad Pitt isn't fazed by the possibility. His latest hit, "World War Z" produced by his Plan B, went through a serious overhaul before it received a go signal (showbiz411.com).

Brad Pitt "Fury" trailer was first screened this June at the E3 gaming convention in Los Angeles, receiving great response from attendees. Ayer claims the film portrays World War II "the likes of which we haven't seen before."

Directors opted for traditional film stock for the production, and chose old-school practical effects over CGI whenever possible. Sony's official teaser trailer for "Fury" was well-received, but reports are also percolating the cost of production is more than the declared $80 million, at least twice as much.

Viewers will surely notice the film is an all-male cast, without the presence of love interests or even token female characters. From the first peeks of the trailer, the film will likely be as gritty and as realistic as the actual events of the Second World War.

"Fury" launches on separate dates in the UK and US, October 24, and November 14 (telegraph.co.uk).
