"Fury" is an impressive World War II epic, with a cast headlined by a notable ensemble. Pitt leads the pack with Shia Labeouf, Logan Lerman, Scott Eastwood, Jon Bernthal, and Michael Pena. As Sgt. Wardaddy, Pitt commands five men of a small Sherman tank crew sent behind enemy lines, as the war wraps up.
David Ayer, notable for the gritty and grim "Training Day" and "End of Watch," directs in collaboration with Jake Gyllenhaal. Reshoots are the norm in filming, and Brad Pitt isn't fazed by the possibility. Viewers will surely notice the film is an all-male cast, without the presence of love interests or even token female characters. From the first peeks of the trailer, the film will likely be as gritty and as realistic as the actual events of the Second World War.
