A new development has occurred regarding season 2 of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as one cast member will make his cameo appearance in the upcoming Avengers sequel, and two Inhuman characters are rumored to be Skye’s father.
Cinemablend reports that B.J. Britt's character Agent Antoine Triplett will make an appearance in Avengers: Age of Ultron as a photo of him was uploaded by a blogger named Little Laura during the film's shooting at the University of East Anglia campus in Norwich, UK.
Fans speculated that this is indeed Agent Triplett, while others debated that it is Anthony Mackie's character Sam Wilson/The Falcon in the photo.
Meanwhile, two Inhuman characters are rumored to be Skye's possible father in season 2.
According to reports from furuousfanboys.com, Skye's father could be Karnak or Maximus the Mad as Marvel Studios plans on introducing the Inhumans in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but further details on whether they will show up on Phase 3 has not yet confirmed.
Breathecast.com reports that Chloe Bennet revealed several details about Skye in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 2.
"Skye finds out a lot about her family coming up, or lack thereof. She doesn't know where she's from or if she's human, or alien, if she has powers. She has no idea, so we'll be seeing a lot of her finding that out."
Karnak is a member of the Inhuman Royal Family and his abilities include extrasensory awareness to perceive stress points, fracture planes, or weaknesses in objects or persons. He has complete voluntary control of most of his autonomic bodily functions. All striking surfaces of his body are extremely toughened. He is capable of shattering substances up to and including mild steel and rendering superhuman opponents unconscious by striking them. He is also an expert martial artist.
As for Maximus the Mad, he is the younger brother of Black Bolt leader of the Inhumans and has mind control powers. He also suffers from schizophrenia, and has antisocial tendencies. Maximus went on to become a villain and fought against the Inhuman Royal family for control of Attilan. He would use the Inhumans to wage war upon mankind, and rule them as the dominant species.
