Production for the film started a few years ago, with initial batch of the stock completed as early as December 2012. Details are kept under wraps, though, until Entertainment Weekly's official reveal.
The magazine cover confirms Tom Hardy as the anti-hero Maverick, Charlize Theron as Furiosa. Miller hints that the movie will be an extended, intense car chase from start to finish, with minimal dialogue, and more importantly, with digital effects waived.
It's expected the non-stop chase stunts is comparable to Quentin Tarantino's work in "Death Proof," a salute to 80's action movies with cheesy plots and gritty stunts. George Miller in EW interview: "I wanted to tell a linear story-a chase that starts as the movie begins and continues for 110 minutes. In this crucible of very intense action, the characters are revealed."
