Lifetime's Emmy-nominated fashion competition "Project Runway" Season 13 is set to premiere on July as it also welcomes new guest hosts and competition twists.
According to Variety, the biggest fashion competition is set to open its doors to aspiring fashion designers on July 24 with resident host Heidi Klum and judges Nina Garcia and Zac Posen. Tim Gunn also comes back as the contestant's mentor.
The show's guest judges for "Project Runway" Season 13 include Julie Bowen of "Modern Family's," actress Shay Mitchell of "Pretty Little Liars," and burlesque dancer Dita Von Teese.
Also in the roster of guest judges are "Mad Men" actress Elisabeth Moss, Olympic gold skier Lindsey Vonn, fashion designer Christian Siriano, YouTube sensation Bethany Mota and Brit actress Amanda de Cadenet.
Siriano is "Project Runway" Season 4 winner.
Not only will the audience be excited with the new guest judges but also with the twists the "Project Runway" Season 13 has to offer.
Season 12 and 11's three former contestants will vie for a position in this year's competition through an Instagram campaign. The winner will then return to the competition and have a chance to make it to the latest series, according to Moviefone.com.
Former Season 12 contestants Ken Laurence and Alexander Pope and Season 11's Amanda Valentine will be competing with each other through an online poll.
Fans of the three have to take to Instagram their support through hash tag #RunwayRedemption Instagram campaign.
However, even at the onset of the fashion series, three designers will be sent home immediately making only 16 designers legible for their first major challenge.
As if to present their creation in the New York Fashion Week, Variety said that the remaining contestants will each make a look for their own spring collection with only a trunk of fabric to use.
"Project Runway" Season 13 winner will be receiving $100,000 from Red Robin for his/her start-up fashion designing business. He/she will also have the opportunity to design a fashion accessory for all the Red Robin servers.
The winner will get to receive a sewing and crafting studio from Brother International Corporation, an entertainment center from Samsung, a fashion spread for Marie Claire and a posh Lexus car.
