"Superman Returns" welcomes a new family following the departure of Jang Hyun Sung and his sons.

On June 25, representatives from the production team announced, "Song Il Gook and his triplets will be joining the remaining 'Superman' families. Casting him has been in the discussion since the beginning, and it will be a new experience seeing a father who will take care of three children."

Actor Song Il Gook is best known for his role as the titular character "Ju Mong."

They added, "Song Il Gook is the type to do his work without fuss, and we were surprised to see how detailed he is when it comes to his children. He was very comfortable in raising them by himself."

His sons Dae Han, Min Guk, and Man Se were born in March 2012, making them two years old. The triplets are also gaining attention because of their unique names, which translates to 'Republic of Korea, hurray!' when pronounced together.

The Song family has already concluded their first filming, and fans can expect to see the new father and sons team on July 6.

"Superman Returns" is a child-rearing program about four fathers who take care of their children for 48 hours without their wives. Catch it every Sunday on KBS.
