Eminem's daughter Hailie Mathers graduated with honors from Chippewa Valley High School in Clinton, Michigan and her famous father made sure he wouldn't miss the ceremony for the world.
According to HollywoodLife, Eminem's daughter Hailie Mathers, 18, really made her father proud after she was awarded the Department of Psychology Award and the Academic Excellence Award.
Eminem fans should recognize Hailie as he dedicated two of his more successful songs, "Mockingbird" and "Hailie's Song" to his daughter.
In an interview, Hailie Jade Scott Mathers thanked Eminem and his ex-wife, Kimberly, for always being there and credited them for being her biggest influence, "because they have pushed me to be the person I am and have given me all the support to achieve what I have."
The pretty teen is reportedly considering taking up psychology or an entrepreneurship course in college.
The website said that Eminem's daughter Hailie Mathers played volleyball and "was heavily involved in extracurricular activities in school including National Honor Society, Art Club and Student Council."
She was also the homecoming queen last year.
Her accomplishments certainly made her dad proud since Eminem aka Marshall Mathers did not graduate from high school and reportedly failed ninth grade three times, according to Smosh.
In fact, Eminem was there to attend his daughter's graduation and in a report by Australia's News.com, the Detroit rapper reportedly "opened the door and looked out like 'that's my daughter,' he just looked like a proud father," one of the parents said.
The Macomb Daily News talked to one of the parents who said that Eminem's daughter Hailie Mathers came out with her mother Kimberly "when she was introduced with all the other kids but her father watched from inside the school because he didn't want to cause a scene - he wanted Hailie to have her own moment."
