Not much to be said about this match other the Brazilian goalkeeper Julio Cesar making some great saves to keep host Brazil in the FIFA World Cup The Brazilians will face Colombia who won after James Rodriguez took charge in the absence of Uruguay's down-man Louis Suarez.
Incidentally Cesar was a reserve for Queen's Park Rangers, a club in England's second tier division. The sum effect of Cesar and his team's efforts? Brazil got rid of Chile on 3-2 penalties after a bunch of top notch players like Hulk, and Willian.
BBC reported the tension that anxed 200 million people's hopes on a few nervewrecking penalties: "Luiz - scores. What noise! Pinilla - saved. Even louder! Willian - wide. Stunned silence. Sanchez - saved. Huge eruption! Marcelo - scores. Almost there! Aranguiz - scores. Surely irrelevant! Hulk - saved. Oh no! Diaz - scores. Trouble! Neymar - scores. Back on track! Jara - post."
