Beyonce and Jay Z's divorce rumors and cheating allegations (mainly Mr. Carter's) have been flying since that elevator video of the couple with Bey's sister, Solange, assaulting her brother-in-law surfaced. The power couple, however, slammed such reports with their PDA-ladden performances at their "On The Run" tour.
The usually media-shy couple flirted, winked at each other, and even kissed on stage, according to MTV. The hip hop world's Bonnie and Clyde poured in the affectionate gestures as they performed comfortably with each other, sharing each other's hit songs.
Beyonce even posted an on-stage kiss she had with her husband on Instagram. In the photo, the "Single Ladies" hitmaker is wearing a monochrome dress while leaning into the all-white-clad Jay Z's embrace.
A source told Grazie magazine, however, that the couple were taking different flights and booking separate rooms in hotels throughout the tour. The same source added that the allegedly estranged couple were "dreading the tour" but couldn't do anything since canceling was out of the question, "...so on the surface it's going to be business as usual, but they're both struggling with trust issues after the spate of cheating allegations."
The report also claims that Jay gave the "Partition" singer unlimited access to all his messages and phone calls but their communication during the tour will be done through assistants and concert staff.
Despite these claims, concert goers report the couple to be at ease with each other on stage. They even showed fans never-before-seen footage of their April 2008 wedding and some clips of their two-year-old daughter Blue Ivy.
They also revealed a series of mugshots, including pop star Justin Bieber's-who had been arrested and embroiled in several negative press-saying, "Even the greatest can fall." Several fans took to Twitter about the scene, enticing both anger and agreement from social media users.
Beyonce and Jay Z's "On The Run" tour set Miami, Florida on fire last Wednesday with 42 songs and various mash-ups of their individual hits. Whether the divorce rumors are real or not, critics and concert-goers alike are in agreement that Mr. and Mrs. Carter is team that knows how to work a crowd.
