Hallyu star Song Seung Hun will be participating in a unique project.
Paintings made by world-famous artists such as Pablo Picasso, Vincent van Gogh, and others will be brought in Korea for the first time through the exhibits ""Picasso and Genius Painters," and "From Ingres to Picasso."
Actor Song Seung Hun volunteered to do the voice over for audio guides to be handed out during the exhibit.
On choosing Song Seung Hun, the organizers of the exhibit explained, "This is a very big project, and the exhibit themselves cost approximately one trillion won (~$984 million). Because Song Seung Hun himself is loved by people across the globe, we wanted him to become the audio narrator for art pieces that are also loved all over the world."
Song Seung Hun expressed his thoughts through his agency, and representatives said, "He is proud that he was given the honor to be an audio guide for famous art pieces around the world. He is also glad that profits from this project will be given to those in need."
"Picasso and Genius Painters" will be open from July 2 to October 9 at the Daejun Art Center, while "From Ingres to Picasso" will be held from November 25 to March 12 at the Seoul Art Center.
All profits made from Song Seung Hun's participation will be donated to charity.
