They call it quits.
"Pretty Little Liars" star Lucy Hale is single again after the recent breakup with country singer Joel Crouse. It was a short-lived relationship, but it seems that it could go far if the two aren't busy with their careers. A source said to Us Weekly that the reason why the two broke up after two months of dating, "It was hard with the distance."
However, another source claimed that Hale, who plays Aria Montgomery in the smash hit mystery-thriller TV series of ABC Family, is "working a lot on 'Pretty Little Liars' and on music ... it got to be too much. [She] has no time for love right now."
The split seems unexpected and sudden as the two celebrated their shared birthday together just last June 14 and even posted their photo on Instagram with photo caption: "Happy flag day to us." Although their engagement was just a rumor, people didn't think that the just new relationship would only last for two months.
Their romance started when the two got closed and were affectionated at a Lakers game in Los Angeles last April. While in a relationship, the two were too busy with their own careers, Hale with "Pretty Little Liars" and singing career and Crouse with his country music. Thus, they didn't get a lot of time to develop their relationship.
Hale, 25, has recently performed in Grand Ole Opry, Nashville in what she called a dream-come-true event of her life. She promoted her latest single "Lie a Little Better" from her debut album "Road Between".
The 22-year-old Crouse is busy with his new album "Even the River Runs", which is expected to be released this coming August 19.
The PLL actress has been linked to Chris Zylka, who played Flash Thompson in "The Amazing Spider-Man" and has recently admitted having a crush on one of her co-stars in the TV series. However, it seems that love is not yet her priority at the moment.
