After the blockbuster hit "Captain America: The Winter Soldier", Chris Evans will once again return to the next installment of the superhero standalone film "Captain America 3", the still the unofficial title. The said movie is set to be released in May 2016, which is rumored to go head-to-head or side-by-side with DC Comics' "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice".

It looks like a war of the superheroes, if that is the case. It is not only that, it will also be the war between Marvel and DC Comics fans.

"Captain America 3" is on its ongoing production, while the production side of "Dawn of Justice" is a little mum on what's going on with the movie except for announcing the star-studded cast. The release date for "Batman vs Superman" is still not officially announced as well.

Marvel Studio President Kevin Feige told Slashfilm, "DC's 'Batman vs Superman' scheduling itself on the same date Marvel had already picked in May 2016, would not prompt Marvel into making any changes.

This means the release date of "Captain America 3" is impossible to move on earlier or later date.

Scott Mendelson, a contributor to Forbes, suggested that DC's movie should move the release date a month before "Captain America 3" play date, saying to Epoch Times, "'Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice' has more to lose than 'Captain America 3', especially if that Comic Con release date slate that Nikki Finke dropped turns out to be true. 'Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice' a month before 'Captain America 3' can avoid any immediate negative perceptions right out of the gate because it has only itself to compare to. It won't be expected to break any records beyond 'biggest April debut' so it can spin as a win anything over $100 million into a month of relatively competition-free play. The Batman-Superman team-up film can fly or fall on its own terms."
