iPad Air 2 vs. iPad Mini 3: Apple is reportedly working on its upcoming tablets that will be launched for the company's fall/winter line-up. According to Load the Game, both gadgets will receive the A8 64-bit processor that will give the tablets steady performance boost. Rumor suggests that iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3 will receive upgraded front cameras with 1.5MP sensor and the rear camera will be advanced to 8MP sensors.

Breathe Cast noted that the latest images of iPad Air 2 show that the new device does not look differently from the current iPad Air, less some minor changes. Reportedly, the two tablets will feature the TouchID technology that will revamp the new button design and home button of iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3.

"The next iPad Air could also be among the first tablets to offer support for 4K ultra-high definition TV," Seeking Alpha reported.

The new Metal API in iPad Air 2 will enhance gaming possibilities as users will see a 5x to 10x improvement in graphics according to the Next Digit. The feature will be able to deliver console-quality graphics on the second generation of iPad Air and the rumoured iPad Mini 3. Such a feature could mean Apple will be able to market itself to another consumer demographic in addition to everyday users and professionals as noted by Inquisitr. Designtrends described the iPad Air as a "game changer" for Apple.

Load the Game reported that the iPad Air 2 might have a 9.7 inch display screen with 2048 x 1536 resolution, the same proportions that its previous prototype carries. The iPad Mini 3 is supposed to be getting significantly better speakers, and both tablets will be getting stronger batteries.

Reportedly, iPad Air 2 is anticipated to be released earlier in October this year along with the iPad Mini 3.
