‘White Collar’ Season 6 Cast Matt Bomer Waited 23 Years For ‘The Normal Heart’ Role; Lands 5th Spot In Hot ‘Gay Pride’ List

"White Collar" season 6 cast Matt Bomer waited 23 years for playing Felix Turner in HBO's "The Normal Heart" as he landed the fifth spot in Hot Or Not "Gay Pride" list.

In an interview with Elle, "White Collar" season 6 cast Matt Bomer revealed that he first read the play when he was just 13 years old and he became a fan ever since.

"For it to be given the voice it was given by HBO is the culmination of so many people's work," he said, who thanked Larry Kramer in his speech after winning Best Supporting Actor

at the Critics' Choice Television Awards on June 19.

The made-for-TV movie was directed by Ryan Murphy and based on the Larry Kramer play tackling HIV/AIDS back when little was known about the disease.

Matt Bomer, who is already out, shared an intimate moment with co-star Mark Ruffalo in "The Normal Heart." Mark Ruffalo revealed to Zap2it: "I had to kiss Matt Bomer, who, granted, is a very good-looking man. I had never kissed a man before, and I was a little nervous about it."

Mark Ruffalo, who played The Hulk in "The Avengers," also said that he psyched himself by thinking that it's no different from kissing a woman "except for the stubble."

Meanwhile, the Hot Or Not website ranked "White Collar" season 6 cast Matt Bomer fifth among the hottest LGBT celebrities in honor of Gay Pride.

"Terminator" cast Kristanna Loken topped the list, followed by Amanda Leigh Dunn from the "Real L Word." Third on the list is Jonathan Bennett of "Mean Girls" and then Chris Colfer from "Glee."

After "White Collar" season 6 cast Matt Bomer, there's also Jim Parsons of "The Big Bang Theory," Kim Stolz of "America's Next Top Model," Olympic diver Tom Daley, Portia de Rossi of "Ally McBeal" and Ellen Degeneres' partner, and Matt Dallas of "Kyle XY," according to Page Six.
