NBC News visited Universal Studio's newest theme park addition, Diagon Alley, to find out how it was created. "Harry Potter: The Making Of Diagon Alley" airs on Monday, in preparation for the new attraction's grand opening.

Hosted by Meredith Vieira, the special captures what went on behind the scenes of turning JK Rowling's phenomenal series into the latest theme park attraction. It offers a sneak peak at Diagon Alley's design and construction.

To make the experience more memorable, Universal Studios brought back the original Harry Potter crew to film the new ride's scenes, especially He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named and his crew. NBC News was able to exclusively talk to Ralph Fiennes (Voldemort) and Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix Lestrange) as they reprise their evil roles for the park.

"Young people will feel that they are actually in it, that they are part of the movie and in the story," Fiennes says in the teaser, ""The physical reality and visual reality around the movie, you can almost reach out and touch it. I think that'll be something they'll never forget."

As one of Harry's tormentors and Voldemort's Death Eater, Bonham Carter reveals that she wants park-goers to "face me and Voldemort, I hope they are terrified out of their skins."

Fans will indeed have to face Voldemort and his Death Eaters in the new ride, "Harry Potter And The Escape From Gringotts."

Meanwhile, Universal Studios allowed some visitors to experience the Harry Potter Diagon Alley attraction. The resort gave hundreds of fans who purchased Potter-oriented hotel packages early access to the park.

The lucky visitors who went to the Orlando park were able to experience riding the Hogwarts Express. They also enjoyed a meal at the Leaky Cauldron. Diagon Alley includes shops such as Weasleys' Wizard Whizzes and Florean Fortescue's Ice-Cream Parlour; as well as several shops that sell the iconic butterbeer, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

Universal Studios will be opening a Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Osaka, Japan on July 15. A similar attraction will also be created at Universal Studios Hollywood for 2016.
