Bad news for Star Wars fans; the Star Wars Battlefront 3 release date has been pushed further, reports even claim a 2016 launch.
With the E3 frenzy over and developers left to deliver to their promises, the gaming industry is at a lull, and gamers left in expectation. Some of the biggest and most anticipated titles have been released, with Ubisoft's Watch_Dogs at the forefront.
The Star Wars game franchise is building momentum for Star Wars 7's 2015 release, with Star Wars: Battlefront scheduled to launch simultaneously with the film. The plan seems unlikely, though, based on recent news.
The game previewed with a full reveal at June E3, the trailer proof of the game in development. Inside sources claim developers are juggling tasks between the Battlefield DLCs and Star Wars: Battlefront, though, and it appears the latter suffered the consequences with a delayed release date.
The news is yet to be officially confirmed, but should give developers plenty of time to iron things out before the Star Wars Battlefront 3 release date.
