The date for Beta test of Ubisoft's new racing game The Crew has been confirmed!
The Fuse Joplin reports that the PC version of The Crew is set on July 23, 2014 as gamers can now register at the game's official website. Anyone who gets selected for the PC beta test will receive an e-mail before the event commences and players will be able to check out the game for five months before its actual release date.
VG24/7 reported before that The Crews creative director Julian Gerighty discuss some few details about the game during the E3 2014 last month. Ubisoft has been running a secret testing operation called Route 99 gathering several feedbacks from players. Perhaps Ubisoft is planning to use those feedbacks as a way to improve the game when the Beta test starts on July 23.
As for the game mechanics, The Crew will be entirely different from other racing games as it will feature one of the biggest maps in racing game history and its RPG elements will focus more on multiplayer gaming, car customization and upgrades that rivals EA's Need For Speed series.
The players will also participate in multiple races and missions designed by the developers while the open world environment will make use of their freedom to create custom races and competitions similar to Grand Theft Auto Online.
The Crew is set to be release on November 11, 2014 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and for the PC.
