Katy Perry Instagram has been buzzing with her new fragrance ad for Royal Revolution.

The "Roar" singer debuted the ad to her more than five and a half million followers on Instagram. She captioned the photo, "AYO! Today I'm unveiling my new #RoyalRevolutionad! Hope you likey BB's. Look for it in stores later this summer..."

In the photo, Katy is her usual glam self, putting her personality on an old school uniform, paired with a British military-inspired jacket and feathered headpiece. She also had on a sexy mini skirt and knee-high socks.

Katy also had on a bold berry lip and her hair was styled pin-straight. She was posed seductively while leaning against a knight's armor.

Last year, Katy debuted her perfume Killer Queen. According Marsha Brooks, global marketing vice president of Coty Beauty Fragrances to WWD, this newest fragrance is "a bit more spirited."

"This fragrance is about female empowerment and breaking the rules," said Brooks.

Killer Queen's Royal Revolution hits the shelves this month, following a London launch with perfumer Pierre Negrin.

As for the fragrance itself, Katy said, "In some ways wearing fragrance is like putting on an invisible suit of luxurious armour. I want Royal Revolution to inspire women to make their own rules and embrace the idea that beauty and inner confidence can come together to become your secret weapon."

Pierre Negrin also talked about the scent and said it has the essence of pink freesia and pomegranate, "this sweet floral has a heart of sandalwood, orange flower and jasmine with the unusual Blackthorn before finishing with base notes of musk and vanilla orchid."

The fragrance is packaged in teal and gunmetal and made under the Coty umbrella.
