Georgina Haig has some big shoes to fill with the role of Queen Elsa when TV show Once Upon A Time Season 4 begins airing later this year. Ever since she made a short appearance in the finale episode of the 3rd season, fans have been waiting for the ice queen to finally be among the show's main characters.
The roles of Kristoff and Anna have already been filled in by Scott Michael Foster and Elizabeth Lail. Haig was the lucky one chosen to be the "Let It Go" character on the famous show. Fans might have already peeked into Haig's acting skills on sci-fi show "Fringe" as Etta.
A report from TVLine said that according to the casting call, "Once Upon a Time" has been scouring for an actress who is in her late 20s or early 30s who has long been struggling to control her ice powers. Due to her incapacity to control her own powers, she unleashed an eternal winter upon her small town when she was finally crowned.
According to the famed show's big bosses, Kristoff, Anna, and Elsa are most likely the only characters from "Frozen" that they will be covering. Although they offered a "No comment" response to whether or not they will be adding a CGI Olaf soon, fans are still hopeful that the famous snowman will be included in the new season's cast. Adding Olaf to the mix might be one of the less ridiculous things to be seen on the show, and might even do the show some good, such as bring in more ratings.
"Frozen" was such an enormous hit for Disney as it garnered a gross of $1.2 billion at the worldwide box office. In fact, it could be ascertained that this particular cartoon is the most profitable animated film to be ever made. Bringing in Queen Elsa through the beautiful Georgina Haig could be an effective method of reviving interest.
