In the past several week, the first batch of smartphones with Windows Phone 8.1 was shipped and should be arriving any time on the markets of Europe. As a matter of fact, two of them are already available in Finland and in Hungary.
Nokia have given word about the availability of Nokia Lumia 635 on the markets of Finland and Hungary. Although the release date is still on July 10, those who are interested to have this newly released handset can actually place their pre-order now.
The retail price of this handset in this country should play around €190 ($260), which is a bit high compared to what it may cost on the other markets. The Lumia 635 was first introduced in April. It shares pretty much the same hardware specs with the Nokia Lumia 630, which has added support for 4G LTE networks.
There's no sure date on when the phone will go on sale as of now. However, it seems that consumers won't be waiting for that long. The handset comes with a 4.5-inch touchscreen, a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 512MB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory, and an expandable memory via microSD (up to 128GB). What's more, it's equipped with a 5MP rear camera, capable of recording 720p videos.
Lumia 635 is not going out on the market alone. The said smartphone is going to be accompanied by the Nokia Lumia 930. The handset is already on the T-Mobile's website, with a price tag of 151,000 HUF ($660/€484), also SIM-free. Unfortunately, there's no certain date for the release of this flagship Windows Phone 8.1 device.
The Nokia Lumia 930 was announced early April, but it is arriving on the market only now. This model features a 5-inch full HD screen, a 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory, and a 20MP camera on the back, with full HD video recording capabilities.
