First week on "Big Brother" season 16 has been nothing short of exciting. Not only did Julie Chen announce the weird twist this season, she also introduced the newest #TeamAmerica alliance.
Sixteen houseguests were afforded with the chance to stay in the "Big Brother" house and after the first HOH competition, Ariana Grande's brother and YouTube sensation Frankie Grande because this season's first ever HOH.
However, in an exciting twist, every week, two HOH's will be named but only one - the stronger of the two may live up to the title. So after another grueling challenge, Frankie was dethroned and Caleb took his place.
Alliances were formed by Joey's attempt at talking the girl housemates to join her in an all-girl alliance backfired, thus risking her chance to stay in the house longer. That is, after she was named by American audiences as one of #TeamAmericas members.
At one point, the alliance that Caleb and Devin coined wanted to boot out Donny but luckily he was saved, thanks to the Power of Veto. As such, Joey was backdoored by all 15 housemates, Wet Paint reported.
Through the end, Joey tried to win the housemates over Pao Pao but she wasn't really successful. More so because she introduced her alter ego "Alex" to everyone - and they were all freaked out, The Star noted.
Her point, "Being a feminist, I need to do something big, do something crazy to get the votes to stay in the house."
Even though she was booted off first, Joey still has the chance to play for her American fans and perhaps even win $5,000 every single time she, Donny and another housemate yet to be named wins a challenge.
Now, two HOH's for week two have been named, including Amber and Devin but towards the end of the week, only one of them will be left standing.
