R&B singer Mya has finally opened up following cheating rumors that deliberately involved her with Jay-Z.
Last month, MediaTakeOut published a blind item that said, "When people talk about Jay-Z and his mistresses, they often forget about a mainstay who has been there forever. She is the person he calls when he needs to be discreet and thinking about old times. She is that very short named R&B singer who hasn't had a hit in a while and doesn't really even act or record any longer. She basically lives off the generosity of Jay-Z and a couple of other guys. She peaked at A-."
Fans of Jay-Z and Beyonce grew extremely concerned following the release of the blind item article. As such, on Thursday, one fan directly asked Mya, "Heard you and Jay Z had an 11-year affair." Mya graciously replied and said, "Never did, never was, never will."
She continued, "Illegitimate, thirsty sources with no facts and that's the 'media' for you especially today. I play second to no one, pay my own bills, have my own label, own management company, rely on God only and respect myself & marriage too much for nonsense."
Meanwhile, Beyonce, who is currently on "The On the Run" tour with Jay-Z, recently changed the lyrics of the song "Resentment" to coincide with what critics said was based on real life drama, the Celebrity Café dished.
Instead of singing the song's original lyrics, "Been riding with your for six years," Beyonce sang, "Been riding with you for 12 years."
Additionally, Beyonce sang, "I gotta look at her in her eyes and see she's had half of me. She ain't even half of me. That bitch will never be me," instead of "I gotta look at her in the eyes and see she's had half of me," but Beyonce sang, NY Daily News reported.
