The Eric Johnson Jessica Simpson wedding today was an all-family affair; the singer doesn't plan to retire from her day job, though, with plans to work on a new album soonest.

Jessica Simpson was wed in style, but not in secret. Unlike other high-profile celebrities who shirk at the first sign of the press, she has a knack for handling the attention, channeling it for a worthwhile cause (and also for profit).

Eric and Jessica are officially a couple; they tied the knot Saturday afternoon at Montecito's San Isidro Ranch, in dreamy Santa Barbara, California. Jessica Simpson hugged all the attention as a bride in Carolina Herrara gown.

It's all in the family in the affair; around 250 guests were in attendance according to a People Magazine report. Eric Johnson alone had 90 guests from his side of the family, and several familiar faces close to Simpson were also confirmed.

Jessica's parents Joe and Tina were present, also her sister Ashlee, fiancé Evan Ross; Simpson is close to Jessica Alba, also in attendance with hubby Cash Warren.

One-year old son Ace served as ring-bearer at the Eric Johnson Jessica Simpson wedding, and daughter Maxwell was flower girl, escorted along the aisle by Ashlee's five year old son Bronx.

The couple gushed about tying the knot in an exclusive interview with People Magazine. "We are overwhelmed with complete happiness and love having made our eternal commitment. To say 'I do' in front of family, friends and, most importantly, our children has been the happiest moment of our lives."

Jessica has been busy for the past years, her music career aside. She's a spokesperson for Weight Watchers, worked out to have the killer figure she had on her wedding day. Her line of shoes and apparel has also earned a billion dollars in retail.

The Eric Johnson Jessica Simpson wedding isn't an indication the singer is retiring from her music career, though. She's having a studio built in her home for her next album, and plans to resume tours and performances after they tie the knot (usatoday.com).
