Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden dating relationship continues to bloom as the couple hit the waves in a Florida beach recently, as the "Sex Tape" star's views on having children seem to have changed.
In a report by UK's Mirror, Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden dating reports were confirmed when the two were snapped "kissing and cuddling." The publication said the two looked an odd pair, with his heavily tattooed body and her toned body.
"The pair kept their relationship under wraps for some time and only recently decided on stepping out together in public," it said, citing a Manhattan source. "They get on so well and although it is early days they are very much in love."
Meanwhile, now that Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden's dating life is being splashed in the media, the "Sex Tape" star's views on family, particularly on having children, has been put on spotlight.
In the April interview with The Telegraph, she said: "If I wanted kids, at any point in life, I would have them but I'm certain that if at any point I wanted a child, that child would find its way into my life, whether through adoption, or through being in a relationship with somebody who has a child."
"I can't see the future, but one thing I do know is that I'm not childless. I have a ton of children in my life. I can have a kid any second, if I want. All my friends would be like, 'Sure, come and get them,'" she added.
But in Esquire's August cover story about her loving her life in her 40s, Diaz - who is dating Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden - seemed more comfortable with the idea of never having kids.
That's quite different from her interview with Esquire back in August when she said that having children means "so much more work."
"To have lives besides your own that you are responsible for - I didn't take that on. ... A baby - that's all day, every day for 18 years. Not having a baby might really make things easier, but that doesn't make it an easy decision. I like protecting people, but I was never drawn to being a mother," she said.
