"Castle" season 7 spoilers are here.
New reports have confirmed that the latest season of "Castle" is slated for a fall premiere, but with major changes.
Earlier reports suggest that series star Nathan Fillion will not be back to reprise his role as Castle this season. But that rumor was slammed since Fillion has already signed on till season 7.
Some "Castle" season 7 spoilers suggest that it will start where it left off in season 6- in the crash site. Fans are eager to know the fate of Castle, and if his impending wedding with Beckett will push through.
It will be highly likely that new season will start from Castle's accident as it was confirmed by show Creator and Executive Producer Andrew Marlowe in an interview with TVLine.
"We feel like, given the way we left off, we have an obligation to start exactly where we ended," he said. "So we'll be picking up in real time."
However, new reports claim that Marlowe will not be back next season, and has in fact, transferred his responsibilities to David Amman. This causes fans to question the plot of the show and whether it will still pursue the storyline it had for the previous seasons.
Marlowe's wife and "Castle" writer Terri Edda Miller addressed the fans' concerns with a tweet, saying:
"For those expressing concern: @andrewmarlowe & I aren't leaving #Castle. Still here full time [for season seven]. Amann's just assuming more responsibility," Miller said.
And for those fans wondering about Senator Bracken's involvement in Castle's accident, here's what Marlowe had to say:
"The Bracken arc is pretty much over," Marlowe told TVLine . "We know who [killed Johanna], Beckett has gotten justice ... If there is any future storytelling with Senator Bracken, it would be breaking new ground and not going back to revisit the old ghosts."
"He's a formidable person and he may someday entertain notions for revenge," he added. "But it would be [in the context of] storytelling that moves us forward."
