R&B singer Mya received multiple death threats after a blind item article that involved him to Jay Z surfaced online.
Last month, MediaTakeOut published an article that insinuated Mya has been having an ongoing love affair with Jay Z.
The singer has since then denied such allegations but Beyonce once again ignited the flame after she changed the lyrics of her hit song "Resentment" during her "On The Run" concert tour.
Just last week, one of Mya's Instagram followers asked her if she had an affair with Jay Z and the "Lady Marmalade" songstress replied, "Never did, never was, never will."
She continued, "Illegitimate, thirsty sources with no facts and that's the 'media' for you especially today. I play second to no one, pay my own bills, have my own label, own management company, rely on God only and respect myself & marriage too much for nonsense."
Mya added, "False rumors are crafted for ratings & numbers. And miserable, unhappy people need someone to judge to deter the attention away from their own misery and feel better about their miserable lives. If they did it to Jesus, they'll do it to anyone. God bless."
Now, the 34-year-old singer's manager, Mike Killmon revealed that his client has been receiving multiple death threats from Beyonce and Jay Z's fans, according to Entertainment Wise.
In a recent interview with the NY Daily News, Killmon dished, "At first the rumor was just ridiculous, but then some die hard Beyonce and Jay Z fans started making threats. She really couldn't care less about the rumors, but she wanted to set the record straight when the after-effects started to become troublesome."
Beyonce and Jay Z have been married since 2008 and have been blessed with one child, Blue Ivy. Rumors of Jay Z's infidelity first surfaced in May after Beyonce's sister, Solange, allegedly attacked his brother-in-law inside an elevator, while at the 2014 MET Gala, the Toronto Sun confirmed.
