Kristen Stewart's new haircut is dramatic and quite captivating!

The "Twilight Saga" star debuted a flaming-orange pixie hairdo at Tuesday's Chanel Haute Couture show in Paris, also in preparation for an upcoming film role.

Kristen's new look was a breath of fresh air, being identified with her shoulder-length hair ever since "The Twilight Saga" started. She's changed her hair color to a fiery red early this year, allowing the dye to grow out and reveal inches of light brown at the roots.

The "Clouds of Sils Maria" actress finally lopped off her long locks in favor of a retro blunt cut, allowing for the short, naturally, wavy length. Kristen Stewart's new haircut is part of her role in the film, with a teaser trailer released the same day.

Her hair was dyed orange as part of a role in another film, "American Ultra," first spotted on set April 15. The color was done at New Orleans' Maison de Cheveux in April 4. It looks like she loved the hue enough to keep it with her new haircut, even after filming for "American Ultra" wrapped up (hollywoodlife.com).

Kristen Stewart's new haircut is short and carefree, paired with toned-down, bronzed makeup to offset the bright orange hair dye. Kristen's ex Robert Pattison has yet to comment on her new look, if he ever makes one. The British heartthrob is rumored to be dating upcoming model Imogen Ker (mstarz.com).

Fans and media have mixed responses to Kristen's decision to step over to the short side of the hair spectrum, but the initial shock was considerably pleasant.

Robsten fans are still hoping for reconciliation between Robert and Kristen, but it looks like the two have gone their very separate ways, at least for now. Kristen's movie "American Ultra" screens in theaters 2015, sporting first peek at her long orange locks.
