In an announcement made Monday, AT&T is offering the G3 for preorder today, with a full retail launch on July 11. The unit comes with a $199 price tag and a two-year lock-in contract, at $0 down and followed by monthly installments of $29.
AT&T is also pairing its LG G3 release date with a sweet offer; select LG devices are available at a 50% discount for subscribers of an AT&T Next plan (optional units LG G3 or LG G Flex) with a two-year commitment. The selected premium accessories available for discount include the G Watch, G3 Quick Circle Folio Case, and the Tone Ultra Bluetooth Stereo Headset.
AT&T's rollout of G3 units comes with default memory and storage specs, at 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. The 4G LTE sets also come with 5.5-inch Quad HD Display, and a 13MP Optical Image Stabilization Plus Camera with Laser Auto Focus.
Sprint launches the same device a few days later, preorders available on July 11, with two years of $25 monthly payments. Units roll out July 18, and the carrier exclusively offers LG G3's "Shine Gold" model to subscribers.
Sprint's Senior VP of Product David Owens: "Sprint and LG have a strong history of innovation together - LG G3 powered by Sprint Spark continues that legacy by offering our customers the new smartphone in a Sprint exclusive, Shine Gold color."
