Motorola Moto G 4G vs Nokia Lumia 635: Nokia has launched Lumia 635 and Motorola offers the Moto G with 4G. Both units are selling for more or less $200. According to the online site 3G, Moto G 4G which has Android 4.4 installed has 1GB of RAM and the Windows Phone 8.1 running Lumia 635 only has 512MB.

The Moto G with 4G is slightly longer and wider with 129.9 x 65.9 x 11.6mm dimensions and a bit thicker and heavier in 143g. The Nokia Lumia 635 on the other hand measures 129.5 x 66.7 x 9.2mm and weighs 134g.

Both phones have 4.5 inch IPS LCD displays in Gorilla Glass 3 to help them resist scratches. Moto G with 4G's ClearBlack technology made it's contrast better in 720 x 1280 screen with a pixel density of 326PPI. The Nokia Lumia 635's 480 x 854 screen has a pixel density of 218 PPI.

Both phones features a 5 megapixel rear camera, however, Lumia 635 doesn't have an LED flash unlike the Moto G with 4G that also boasts of a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera which the Lumia 635 lacks. Both handsets can also record video in 720p at 30fps.

According to Motorola, the Moto G with 4G can stand mixed usage up to 24 hours with its 2070 mAh battery. The Nokia Lumia 635 on the other hand has a smaller 1830 mAh battery with a talk time of up to 14 hours or a standby time of up to 648 hours. In practice both phones are likely to last you a day, but not much more.

These smartphones are clocking at 1.2GHz and are powered by quad-core Snapdragon 400 processors.

The two handsets have curved plastic backs, however the Nokia Lumia 635 comes with a wide array of colors, with choices such as bright orange and bright green, while the Motorola Moto G 4G comes in just white or black.
