After the release of Extant trailers, finally, the TV series will already premiere on Wednesday, 9 PM at CBS. The show has 13 episodes with thriller scenes.
From the post of NewPittsburghCourierOnline, the story revolves on Molly who is a scientist. When she arrives on Earth, her friend doctor found out that she is pregnant. And the mystery here is, she was on a solo trip for one year for an outer-space mission. Meaning she was far away from her family and she was totally alone. So how come she'll be pregnant?
According to the source, "Extant" turns out to be smart and engrossing. It has also an approach of a meditative, with gently futuristic touch (check that high-tech garbage can) that draws the viewer in.
The movie can be high-end because it is starred by Berry, who is an Oscar winner for her 2001 film "Monster's Ball".
The short trailer that has been already released can be watched in Youtube. The short clip tried to show the conspiracy at work (high official rank astronauts) with the glimpse of domestic drama, where Molly tried to reconnect with her husband and her young son after one year of isolation in a spaceship. However, since it is just a trailer, it gives questions to tease viewers to just watch the TV show in order to find the answers.
The trailer didn't give a hint if the baby carrying by Molly is a human or an alien. And this is the mystery that must be watched for. Another thing to look forward is the mysterious personality of Molly's son.
