"Glee" star Becca Tobin's boyfriend, Matt Bendik, was found dead in a hotel room in Philadelphia, multiple sources confirmed.

Multiple sources confirmed that Bendik's body was found by a hotel maid on Thursday afternoon. At that time, the 28-year-old "Glee" star, who plays the role of Kitty Wilde was also in Philadelphia where she accompanied her boyfriend who was on a business trip. However, Tobin was not inside the hotel room when the body was found, according to TMZ.

The 35-year-old Bendik and Tobin spent the evening of Wednesday together, along with a handful of friends. Prior to his death, Bendik shared a photo of a shoe giveaway for his fans via Instagram, US Weekly reported.

Bendik, who happens to be the owner of several clubs across the United States, including the famous West Hollywood DBA nightclub in Los Angeles, was mourned by his colleagues who gave him a simple tribute outside the club that read, "We love you Matt."

A source dished to E! News, "Matt was in Philly for business. No one knows what happened as of right now. It is extremely sad and tragic. He was such an amazing guy. He was so in love with Becca - they did everything together. They were so in love."

Bendik's death comes after the first year death anniversary of Cory Monteith, a former "Glee" cast member who worked with Tobin for a few episodes.

Monteith, who passed away at the age of 31, was also found dead in his hotel room. Multiple sources confirmed that he died due to drug overdose.

Meanwhile, The Modern Honolulu previously confirmed that Tobin started getting involved with the clubs business when he was just 15 years old. However, he was not described by friends as a "party person."

He later on went to Cornell University and then returned to Hollywood to run his own venues, according to the NY Daily News.
