As Prince George of Cambridge turns a year old on July 22, he will be gracing the cover of the August 2014 issue of Vanity Fair magazine.

Along with his parents the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, the magazine's review from Daily Mail says the young royal is shown leaning towards his father William as his mother Kate looks on with a smile.

The image was taken from Prince George of Cambridge and his parents' first official royal tour to Australia and New Zealand. After spending 19 days travelling across the antipodean nations, the royal family reportedly may also expand their visit. During the official visit to Sydney's Taronga Zoo, a bilby enclosure was even named in the honor of the little prince.

Now that Prince George of Cambridge will be turning 1-year-old, the Vanity Fair issue talks about how the Duke and Duchess are said to soon expand their family. Palace rumors have been circulating that the couple are hoping to try for another baby in the summer.

Those close to William and Kate have also shared that the couple aims to raise Prince George to have a "normal upbringing". This includes regular play dates at the houses of friends who have children of the same age.

Another aspect that attests to the couple's intention to raise their son to have a normal upbringing is Kate's hands-on handling of matters concerning Prince George. She is said to be currently busy with the decoration of Prince George's nursery room, using mostly white modern furniture, contrary to the palace's usual traditional antique furniture.

While it has been reported that Prince George has a tendency to misbehave by crying loudly and waking through the night, the young royal has so far been well-behaved during public appearances.

Safe to say that the Vanity Fair feature, which contains a lot of interesting materials from royal insiders, is dedicated to Prince George of Cambridge's first year in the spotlight.
