"The Last Ship" TV spoilers revealed that Travis Van Winkle will join cast as US Navy Seal leader Lt. Danny Green, as TNT network will bring the show to San Diego Comic-Con along with "Legends" and "Falling Skies."
Travis Van Winkle ("Hart of Dixie") confirmed the "The Last Ship" TV spoilers when he spoke with Citizen.com where he narrated his experience when filming in San Diego and wearing an officer's uniform.
"We were filming in San Diego on a live destroyer and we had the Navy present with us the whole time during filming. Since I'm an officer on the show, I'm wearing the wardrobe of an officer, and I would walk onto the ship and some of the sailors would salute me," he said.
The 31-year-old said that it was difficult for him to tell them that he wasn't really a Naval officer.
"And then when I had to break the news that 'Oh, I'm just acting,' it was usually a pretty funny moment for them," he said.
The TNT network released "The Last Ship" TV spoilers for episode 4 as Commander Tom Chandler (Eric Dane) will have to deal with a catastrophic event when the ship's propeller is damaged and the crew is low on drinking water. The synopsis said all these challenges will put the commander's ingenuity and leadership to the test.
Meanwhile, TNT will bring "The Last Ship" to the San Diego Comic-Con along with its other hit series "Falling Skies" and "Legends."
According to ComingSoon.net, this will be the first time that series will be promoted at the San Diego International Airport as flyers coming in on the third week of July will be greeted with ads for the "Legends" TV series.
The network is also partnering with CraveOnline to host a party at the USS Midway to promote "The Last Ship" on July 25.
