Ryan Reynolds' new movie "The Captive" trailer has been release online.

The film was formerly known as Queen of the Night (see Wikipedia page). It is an upcoming Canadian thriller movie which is directed by Atom Egoyan and it was co-written by David Fraser.

The shooting began in February 2013 in Sudbury, Ontario. The target premiere was on May 16, 2014 at the Cannes Film Festival. Distributor A24, in partnership with DirecTV, purchased the U.S. rights to the film.
Popular stars of the movie are Ryan Reynolds, Scott Speedman, Rosario Dawson, Mireille Enos, Kevin Durand and Alexia Fast.
It was reportedly chosen to compete for the Palme d'Or in the main competition section at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival.
In the trailer, the first scene is set in the snowy place. Matthew (played by Reynolds) is the father of the girl who mysteriously disappear after he return to the truck.
The detectives who will handle the case were played by Scott Speedman and Rosario Dawson.
According to Variety, Reynolds latest effort has received positive feedbacks. Way back in previous Variety Review of The Captive,
Justin Chang called the film “a ludicrous abduction thriller that finds a once-great filmmaker slipping into previously unentered realms of self-parody”.
No date was announced yet regarding the release of the movie in theaters.
