"The Good Wife" season 6 spoilers revealed a guest appearance by Taye Diggs as cast Christine Baranski seems to be unaffected by the Emmy snub for the Outstanding Drama Series category.

The E! News revealed "The Good Wife" season 6 spoilers when it reported that Taye Digg will appear for "multiple episodes" as Dean Levine-Wilkins, an equity partner at Lockhard/Gardner who was described as "meticulous" and "talented."

His character will join Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski) at the firm run by Alicia (Juliana Marguiles) and Cary (Matt Czuchry).

In a statement by showrunners Robert and Michelle King, they said: "We couldn't be more excited to have Taye on the show. We've been huge fans for years, and love his ability to play comedy and drama with equal ease."

Meanwhile, Christine Baranski said that "The Good Wife" has something good going for it, as she remains unaffected by the Emmy snub.

"If you really look back on season five and just watch the whole season unfold, there's such artistry to it. The court cases are interesting; the personal relationships are so interesting and adult. The office politics-people can really relate to it because it's very much a grown-up world," she told E! News.

"The Good Wife" was snubbed from the Outstanding Drama Series and Drama Writing categories, the website added.

She said that the series doesn't depend on violence, rape, sensationalism, "beheadings and people being in strange, weird, aberrational-particularly women" in order to attract a loyal following.

The women in the "The Good Wife" do not portray stereotypes but characters that constantly deal with "moral ambiguity" and they have to make decisions in order to do the right thing.

"I always like to call this show, shades of gray. There's a real skill involved in writing a show that has that complexity and sophistication," she added.
