Cory Montheith death anniversary is a particularly hard time for his former Glee co-stars. The whole gang posted tweets to honor Cory.
Cory died in July 13, 2014 at 31 years old and it is now a year since then. Glee fans the world over got shocked when Cory died of a fata mix of alcohol and heroin. He was found inside his Vancouver hotel room. Foul play was ruled out immediately after surveillance footage showed he had been with friends Friday night but returned to his room alone.
Cory's rise to fame was via "Finn Hudson", the quarterback singer in the hit TV series "Glee".
He had previously had drug issued during his younger days. In a 2011 interview in Parade magazine, Monteith shared how he was "lucky to be alive". "I burned a lot of bridges," he told the magazine. "I was out of control."
He described his substance abuse problem as "anything and everything, as much as possible. I had a serious problem."

As for what Lea will be doing to commemorate Cory's 1-year death anniversary, "She is going to make a mention of it on Twitter and Instagram but for most of the day she is going to mourn on her own time and keep her thoughts and feelings to herself," a source said. "She knows that Cory would want to live her life and that is exactly what she will be doing."
