Shakira has brought her feisty vibes to the 2014 FIFA World Cup Final, when she performed La La La (Brazil 2014) with Brazilian musician Carlinhos Brown and dancing to the beat of drummers and Samba dancers at Maracanã Stadium in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil before the match began on Sunday, July 13.

The singer wore a red dress embellished with sequins, feathers and tassels. To add some cute factor to her performance, she carried in her 1-year old son, Milan, while Brazilian singer Ivete Sangalo sang. Milan's daddy is Shakira's boyfriend and Spanish soccer player Gerard Piqué.

On her relationship to football, she said: "I have an intricate relationship with football for obvious reasons, and I truly understand what the World Cup means to so many people, myself included."

For the performance, Shakira enlisted the help of Zumba creator Beto."What an amazing experience to be here!" said Beto, who traveled from Zumba's headquarters in Miami to choreograph the dance moves to Shakira's international hit."

"I am grateful, fortunate and happy beyond belief to work alongside one of the most incredible and influential artists in the world."

Shakira's performance, along with the equally entertaining match, was seen by some 78,000 cheering spectators, plus millions of fans across the world.

She wasn't the only performer at the event. Wyclef Jean, Carlos Santana and Brazilian singer Alexandre Pires who sang the official World Cup anthem, "Dar um Jeito (We Will Find A Way)" were also in attendance.

Shakira isn't new in the World Cup scence. This is her third time to perform at a World Cup. She previously sang "Waka Waka" at the 2010 tournament's closing ceremony in South Africa and performed her mega-hit "Hips Don't Lie" at the 2006 World Cup in Germany.

Other performances at this year's World Cup included Pitbull, Jennifer Lopez and Brazilian singer Claudia Leitte.
