"Doctor Who" season 8 is facing more leak as a footage from the new series was shared online.

The "Doctor Who" season 8 leak came almost six weeks early as the series won't be aired on BBC1 until next month, MailOnline said.

The executives of BBC are investigating how the scripts and footage landed in the hands of the invidivuals who shared them online. In same vein, the network's bosses issued a warning that it's illegal to share the footage as they are studying legal ways in order to prosecute the violators.

In a statement released by the network opf the latest "Doctor Who" season 8 leak: "This is part of BBC Worldwide's ongoing security investigation into leaked unfinished Doctor Who materials. This content is currently being removed and originates from the same Miami server we disabled last week."

Last week, it was reported that five scripts from season eight were leaked online.

The "Doctor Who" scripts leak was condemned by BBC as network execs requested fans who might have gotten hold of the material to refrain from sharing it with others.

In a statement, the British network confirmed the "Doctor Who" scripts leak as it is "currently investigating the security issue" for season 8 of the series. It also said that the materials that made their way online are still "unfinished."

"We deeply regret this and apologise to all the show's fans, the BBC and the cast and crew who have worked tirelessly making the series," the statement said.

It also issued a plea "to anyone who might have any of this material and spoilers associated with it not to share it with a wider audience so that everyone can enjoy the show as it should be seen on 23rd August."

According to Mashable, the "Doctor Who" scripts leak involved five materials from season 8, starring Peter Capaldi, and the apparent breach occurred when they were sent via email "between BBC bureaus."
