"Pawn Stars" Cast Corey Harrison is now excited to hit the gym as the reality TV star debuted his leaner frame after taking extreme measures in order to shed some weight.
"Pawn Stars" cast Corey Harrison revealed to People magazine that alarm bells went ringing after he was told by his doctor that he will be put under preventive medication to avoid diabetes. At that time, his weight ballooned to 402 pounds, his heaviest.
"I literally drove straight from the doctor to the lap band center and had the surgery almost immediately. Back then, the surgery was too expensive for my bank account, so I had to pay with four credit cards, but it was something I had to do - I was not going to get diabetes," he told the magazine.
"Pawn Stars" cast Corey Harrison revealed that he lost 50 pounds at the outset but he maintained his momentum until he hit his current weight of 210 pounds, revealedCNN.
"I'm actually excited to go to the gym now. I box 12 rounds a day five days a week," he said, adding that he's now becoming more active because he doesn't want to go back to weighing as much as he did.
"When I was a teenager, I loved snowboarding, but in my 20s I was too big to strap my feet in the boards. Being able to finally touch my toes made me realize I could snowboard again, so I went out and got new gear immediately," he added.
In May, Corey Harrison made the headlines when he landed at the hospital after jumping off his bike to avoid being killed. In a report by TMZ, the bottom fender mount of his Harley broke, sending his bike into a tailspin at 40 mph."
Last month, "Pawn Stars" cast Corey Harrison posted on Instagram before-and-after photos, where his face appeared leaner and now sporting a beard. He also captioned the photo simply, "5 Years lol."
