Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin have publicised that they were splitting last March. However, the ex-couple seem to have been closer than ever. A source told E! News that the pair was spotted dining together with their children, Apple and Moses at the Bay Kitchen Bar in East Hampton on Monday night.

"They were in good spirits and looked like a very happy family," the source said. "Everyone seemed to be in a great mood and enjoyed the evening together," the witness added.

Daily Mail reported that the Chris Martin was seen the following day checking the lanes of sports store Gubbins, where he picked up skateboards. Reportedly, it is for his daughter, Apple. Martin, 37, then met Paltrow and their children at Fierro's Pizza after shopping.

"They were operating like a couple, and with the kids looked like a happy family," a witness told Page Six.

People Magazine previously implied that the couple might get back together. A friend of the couple is agreeing with the possibility of them getting back together.

"They haven't made any concrete decision to get back together yet, but clearly it's a possibility. At this point, some of the pressure was just taken off them - pressure they put on themselves to "make it work," says a friend of the couple.

"Gwyneth and Chris always vowed to stay friends for their children when they split, but they have been getting on better than ever in the last few weeks. After they announced they were splitting up, all the pressure was off and Chris has really enjoyed spending time with Gwyneth," an insider revealed to British magazine Grazia.

According to Huffington Post, since their breakup earlier this year, Martin is thought to have felt less stressed about his relationship with Gwyneth.

The duo made it clear when they revealed they were splitting that they were doing so in good terms, saying, "We have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate."
