"Better Call Saul" spoilers are not clear about Bryan Cranston making a cameo in future episodes, as the events in the "Breaking Bad" spinoff take place six years before the rise and fall of Walter White.
Creator Vince Gilligan dished out "Better Call Saul" spoilers during the Television Critics Association's press tour. He was asked whether Walter White might appear in one of the future episodes.
"If it makes sense we'll do it, if it doesn't make sense we won't," Gilligan said, perTIME magazine.
Walter White's appearance might prove to be difficult since the events in the "Breaking Bad" spinoff will take place six years before Walter White.
According to London's Mirror, citing the official description of the series, the events in "Better Call Saul" is set "six years before Saul Goodman meets Walter White."
The man who will become Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) is still known as Jimmy McGill who is described as a "small-time lawyer searching for his destiny, and, more immediately, hustling to make ends meet."
The "Breaking Bad" spinoff will then chronicle Jimmy McGill's adventures as he transforms into Saul Goodman.
Also included in the cast is Jonathan Banks who will reprise his role as Mike Erhmantraut. Other cast members are Patrick Fabian, Rhea Seehorn, Michael Mando and Michael McKeen as Saul Goodman's brother.
However, even if "Better Call Saul" and "Breaking Bad" are separated by six years, there's still a possibility that their universes will collide as Vince Gilligan is intrigued by the idea of a time jump.
The blog IndieWire dished out "Better Call Saul" spoilers when it said that Vince Gilligan confirmed the prospect of a time jump.
"We like jumping around in time. I would definitely point you in the direction that anything that's possible in the world of 'Breaking Bad' is possible," he said.
