Oscar winner Ron Howard is a fan of legendary band Beatles. And now, he is reportedly to direct and produce the documentary
film of band's touring years between 1960 and 1966 according to Variety. If you are a fan of The Beatles, then this is good news!
Aside from Howard, other producers are Apple Corps, White Horse Pictures and Howard's Imagine Entertainment Scott Pascucci and Howard's longtime producing partner Brian Grazer.
It was also reported that Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Yoko Ono Lennon and Olivia Harrison will cooperate on the said docu film.
The executive producers are Imagine's Michael Rosenberg and White Horse's Guy together with Jeff Jones and Jonathan Clyde for Apple Corps.
In an interview, Howard said:
"I am excited and honored to be working with Apple and the White Horse team on this astounding story of these four young men who stormed the world in 1964,"
"Their impact on popular culture and the human experience cannot be exaggerated." he added.
On Rappler's post dated on July 17, the movie will be focussing on the band members' early days in Liverpool's Cavern Club, their time honing their musical skills in Germany, their arrival in the United States, their last public concert in San Francisco which happened in 1966.
This is second documentary movie of Howard. The first one is Made in America, which is about Jay-z's tour, released last 2013 and his other directing credits are Apollo 13 (in 1995), Frost/Nixon (in 2008) and the most recent is Rush which released last year.
