The full Emmy Awards Nominations 2014 list was announced last Thursday. The prestigious award show recognized shows from different television networks, both broadcast and cable companies.
CBS gathered 47 nominations for the broadcast network, beating out NCB, ABC, PBS, and Fox. For the cable networks, HBO hauled in the most nods for its shows with 99 overall nominations, pulling ahead from FX Networks, Showtime, Comedy Central, Lifetime, and Fox/Natgeo.
HBO's phenomenal hit series, "Game Of Thrones," is the forerunner with 19 nods, followed by FX' mini-series "Fargo" which stars Billy Bob Thornton and Martin Freeman.
Another FX series, "American Horror Story: Coven" earned 17 nominations while AMC's "Breaking Bad" tied with HBO's television movie, "The Normal Heart" at 16 nominations.
Hit shows "Orange Is The New Black" and "House Of Cards" helped bring in 31 nominations for Netflix, which is double its count last year.
