Caroline Wozniacki takes a not-so-discreet jab at her ex-fiancé Rory Mcllroy, by wearing a unique pair of high heels. Caroline Wozniacki, the world's former No.1 posted a photograph of herself while she was shopping with a close friend of hers during her stay in Istanbul. She was in the area to compete in the famous Istanbul Cup.

Caroline Wozniacki captioned her picture with, "Out and about in Istanbul. It's been three years since I have worn high heels on a normal day out. #feelsgood #looksgood #shopping #highheels #sun" However, she later deleted this post, which was actually on her Instagram account.

This was around the same time that Mcllroy also reached the top of The Open leaderboard with an opening-round, six-under par 66.

Caroline Wozniacki actually dated Mcllroy for three years, who happens to be a bit shorter than her. Wozniacki is 5'10, which is four centimeters taller than her Northern Irish ex-beau, who is only 5'8. This is perhaps the premise of her Instagram post, which indicated that she could now wear heels, since she had to commit herself to wearing flat shoes during her three-year relationship with Mcllroy to reduce the height difference. The couple decided to end their engagement just last May, only days after they have sent out their wedding invitations.

During the Wimbledon tournament, Caroline Wozniacki was being questioned about whether or not she would consider Internet dating. However, the amazingly gorgeous tennis star just laughed it off and said that she was not that "desperate" to try virtual apps like the increasingly famous Tinder. Mcllroy, on the other hand, was quick on the rebound and was recently spotted in Dublin with beautiful model Nadia Forde just earlier this month.

Fortunately for Mcllroy, golf has been good to him lately, as there has been a highly noticeable improvement in his golf-playing skills since he and Caroline Wozniacki decided to part ways.
