The Utah Jazz get the similar feelings in this year's summer league as how they felt in the recent playoff they had.
The extraordinary feelings they had when they played against the San Antonio Spurs were relived. These feelings of confidence did not seem to last.
In the midst of Rodney Hood gaining a 19 point lead, the Jazz failed to succeed in the fourth quarter, incurring a loss to Spurs last Thursday in Las Vegas.
Quin Snyder, Jazz coach was disappointed, but managed to give out these comments:
"We played hard. A few mistakes,"
"A close game between two good Summer-League teams. I think we did a good job."
"It's a process. I think a lot of it just begins with them trusting me and I'm going to coach them and me trusting them that they're going to do the things we ask,"
"Over time, I think people will tell you who they are. You know them by their actions as much as anything."
Forward player, Austin Daye was 20 points ahead of the Spurs. However, the Spurs still managed to make use of the 33-23 fourth quarter edge in order to finally, find a way to single out the Jazz off the championship potential.
Jazz point guard, Trey Burke, remains optimistic though, by saying:
"I think we're on the right path,"
"I felt like we could've won this game. Too many turnovers (14) down there."
Burke remains to nurture the never say die attitude, which will potentially enhance the winning streak hopeful moods within the team.
