Twitter is really amazing! After Neil Patrick Harris expressed his intent to make an appearance on FX's American Horror Story: Freak Show, one of the series' creators has finally responded through Twitter, and yes, they'd love to have him on board!
Harris stopped by EW Radio and talked about his love for variety shows, freak shows and the fourth season of American Horror Story. "I wrote a letter to Ryan asking if I can be in it, even though I wasn't available to be in it...I just love those series and Coven was fantastic...to do one that involves any kind of freak, circus nonsense is going to be unsettling to watch. Can't wait!"
Shortly after, Ryan Murphy, the show's creator alongside Brad Falchuk tweeted the How I Met Your Mother alum and said, "@ActuallyNPH of course you can be on Freak Show! I have a role I think you'd love."
No word yet if the Broadway Star will really appear on the show, but the possibility is making us excited!
American Horror Story: Freak Show stars Jessica Lange as a purveyor of one of the last remaining "freak shows" in Florida in the 1950s. Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Evan Peters, Emma Roberts, Frances Conroy and Michael Chiklis also stars on the show.
