After crashing the concert of Willie Nelson, fans were thrilled to see the Johnny Depp Aerosmith jam in Boston. The 51-year old actor is currently shooting the "Black Mass" in Boston while her fiancée Amber Heard is just a few hours away in New York shooting "The Adderall Diaries".

The two took some time out from their busy schedule to watch the concert of Aerosmith last Thursday. The "Pirates of the Caribbean" star surprised the crowd by picking up a guitar and showing off his skills. Steven Tyler introduced the actor to the screaming fans, 'Yo! Bringing out on stage my good friend, Mr. Johnny Depp!"

The actor looked like a real rocker with his white singlet, black button-up shirt, jeans, and newsboy cap. Depp performed the song "Train Kept a Rollin" alongside Aerosmith and he even surprised the crowd with a solo guitar. An eyewitness told the Daily Mail, "He's a natural!"

According to E! News, Amber Heard was one of the audiences that showed much support to the actor. This isn't the first time that the 51-year old actor joined Steven Tyler and the rest of the band. Back in 2012, fans witnessed the superb Johnny Depp Aerosmith jam in Los Angeles.

Johnny Depp has always wanted to become a professional musician, but he ended up in the acting business. However, you will see traces of a rockstar in some of his performances. Depp revealed that Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards was one of his inspirations for the Jack Sparrow character.

He said in an interview, "It was very strange initially you know when the character's main ingredients came up. I was a little worried at what Keith Richards was gonna think. I didn't fear Pepe Le Pew but I was a little worried about Keith."

Depp continued, "Because for a good portion of the time I was spending with him, I was sponging as much of him as I possibly could for the character. And when he found out what I'd been doing, it could've gone either way, but he was very nice about it, like 'I had no idea mate!' He was very sweet about it."

According to The Independent, Johnny Depp learnt guitar and started playing in garage bands after he was given the instrument by his mother aged 12. He dropped out of high school to become a rock star before meeting Nicolas Cage who advised him to pursue an acting career.
